High Rankings for Valley Medical Center in Annual List of ‘Best Hospitals’
  • U.S. News & World Report has high marks for Valley Medical Center and other UW Medicine hospitals in its newly released list of Best Hospitals 2017-2018 evaluations of more than 4,600 local, state and national facilities. Ranked at No. 6 in the Seattle metro area with Harborview Medical Center, Valley Medical Center was also recognized as No. 8 “Best Hospital” in Washington state.

    As part of the magazine’s methodology, a separate set of ratings is compiled for care in specific conditions and procedures. Valley Medical Center has “high performing” ratings in these areas:

    • Heart failure (Valley Medical Center, UW Medical Center)
    • Hip replacement (Valley Medical Center, Northwest Hospital & Medical Center)
    • Knee replacement (Valley Medical Center)

    UW Medical Center is ranked the No. 1 hospital in Washington state and the Seattle metro area for the sixth consecutive year.

    Was at Saint Francis and checked myself out after comparing their reviews to Valley Medical. You guys are leaps and bounds beyond them from your professionalism, how qualified your doctor’s and nurses are to how clean your hospital is. So glad I made the decision of leaving Saint Francis!!!
