You know it’s important to eat lots of fruit and vegetables, but how can you jazz them up to make them more delicious? It’s all in how you cook them.
- Roast vegetables at a high temperature to caramelize them and make them naturally sweeter.
- Throw fruit on the grill for a richer, sweeter flavor.
- Lightly sauté veggies in a small amount of canola, sunflower or avocado oil, until crisp, not soggy.
- Add seasonings to vegetables like lemon, garlic and onion and fresh or dried herbs like parsley, basil, dill, rosemary, oregano.
