The Friend’s Project, a New Free Resource Hosted by Children’s Therapy

One of Children’s Therapy’s amazing parents, Natalie Eslinger, is the mother of two of our long-standing patients. Last May, she started a non-profit called The Friends Project whose mission is to create an on-going program where first responders and the special needs community establish a positive relationship of education and trust.

Starting in August, Children’s Therapy will host The Friend’s Project meet-ups on the first and third Fridays of the month with fire department or police department members, department vehicles, information about the Take Me Home program, movement stations with a physical therapist…and our very own therapy dog, Clover! Each meeting will have a different safety focus.

To volunteer at The Friends Project events, contact Natalie Eslinger at thefriendsprojectofwa@gmail.com and visit their Facebook page, “The Friends Project of WA.”
