Valley Recognized by the American Medical Association’s 2022 Joy in Medicine Health System Recognition Program

Valley is excited to share we’ve been recognized by the American Medical Association’s 2022 Joy in Medicine Health System Recognition Program for our efforts to improve physician well-being and combat burnout. Valley joins the ranks of prominent, large health systems like Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins Medicine, and the Mayo Clinic in our commitment to the well-being of our physicians and advanced practice practitioners.

Valley is dedicated to creating a culture of wellness and fighting burnout for our clinicians. Our program includes a Professional Satisfaction and Wellness Committee, recognition celebrations, a peer support line, participation in conferences for physician health, and personal finance workshops. We consider our clinicians an important part of our community that we care for like family, and we are devoted to being an employer of choice.

The AMA’s Joy in Medicine™ Health System Recognition Program requires organizations to document their achievements and efforts in six areas: assessment, commitment, efficiency of practice environment, leadership, teamwork and support. Learn more about the program and see the list of past recipients.

Valley could not fulfill our mission of caring for our community like family without the faithful dedication of our physicians and advanced practice practitioners. We thank them for all that they do to care for our patients as we continue to do all we can to care for them in return.
