Valley’s Employee Giving Committee—Hard at Work for Valley!

The Employee Giving Committee at Valley is an employee-led group that creates opportunities for our staff members to show their support through events and fundraising efforts. Many of our employees receive care at valley, their families get care here, and lots were even born here! The Committee provides an opportunity to give back to Valley in additional, meaningful ways.

The Committee is currently raising money to purchase a Mamava Original Breastfeeding Pod for Valley’s main campus. Breastfeeding provides long-term health benefits for babies and mothers and we are excited to offer another convenient and welcoming space for moms to use. There is currently only one dedicated space available for nursing mothers on campus so the pod, which is planned for the Medical Arts Center, will be a wonderful resource for our patients and staff.

The committee has hosted Cookie & Milk Care Package deliveries for staff, a Cereal & Milk party and is hard at work planning more events. Support has been amazing and, in just over a month, our employees have donated over $9,000 – 42% of the way to our $22,000 goal.
