Need to schedule your annual wellness exam in the midst of a busy work week? Did that scratchy throat from Friday morning turn in to a full blown sore throat by Saturday? Valley’s newest clinic at Kent Station will help you get the care you need in a convenient location close to home and work.
Kent Station’s Quick Care Clinic opens Sunday, August 19. The Primary Care Clinic opens the next day, Monday, August 20. The Primary Care team will be led by Family Medicine docs Long Nguyen, DO and Thuy Pham, DO, currently in practice at Valley’s Cascade Clinic in Renton, who will be joined by Jensen Nelsen, PA-C. Quick Care providers will treat minor illnesses and healthcare needs, including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu and cold symptoms, urinary tract infections, insect bites, and minor conditions. This handy guide will help you determine if Quick Care (as opposed to Urgent Care or the Emergency Room) is where you should go.
“I’m looking forward to being a part of a new clinic and getting to know the community around Kent Station. And since we’re located next to a Panera, the bread bowls!,” says Dr. Nguyen. Dr. Pham is looking forward to “being part of the diverse, vibrant community of Kent. (She) hopes to meet many of you from the community, and nab some recommendations for good hiking spots!”
The Kent Station Clinic will make its public debut in an Open House celebration on Saturday, August 18 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Join us that day to meet the staff and tour the clinic. The clinic will open to patients at 8 AM on Monday, August 20 and is now scheduling appointments.
