2,800 pounds of beans packed in 2 hours!
On September 15, twenty-one volunteers from Valley’s Emergency Department scooped, bagged, and packed 2,800 pounds of beans during a day of service at Northwest Harvest. The beans, which will be shipped to area food banks, are the equivalent of 2,154 meals. Thank you to Roz Parsons, ED Assistant Nurse Manager, for coordinating the event, and for all of the Valley staff who gave their time in service of our community.
