Valley Medical Center Honors a Champion for Cancer Patients During Cancer Center Ribbon Cutting

New Tina McDonough & Family Infusion & Immunotherapy Center Celebrates Her Dedication to Cancer Care

Valley shared a joyful and emotional celebration with our staff, patients, donors, and community, as we dedicated the first phase of The Cancer Center at Valley Medical Center in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Jan. 16. The center, which opened to its first patients on Feb. 3, is the first of its kind in South King County.

This incredible milestone wouldn’t be possible without the relentless dedication of Tina McDonough, the fearless founder of local non-profit Valley Girls & Guys. During our celebration on Jan. 16, the new Infusion & Immunotherapy Center was named “Tina McDonough & Family Infusion & Immunotherapy Center,” honoring Tina, her family, and Valley Girls & Guys for their unwavering commitment to cancer care in our community.

“I’m overjoyed and deeply humbled by this recognition,” Tina shares. “But my heart remains focused on what lies ahead. Together, we have more patients and families to support and more hope to share. This beautiful Center is just the beginning of what we can achieve.”
