Valley Girls & Guys Gifts $1.8 Million to Valley’s Future Cancer Center

Valley Girls & Guys Gifts $1.8 Million to Valley’s Future Cancer Center

THANK YOU doesn’t even begin to express our level of gratitude. On Thursday, June 1, our friends and partners at Valley Girls & Guys unveiled a $1.8 MILLION donation toward our future Cancer Center, the first major gift toward a project that will change lives in South King County.

“We wanted to be the forerunners in this,” said Valley Girls & Guys Founder Tina McDonough. “We wanted to be the people that said, ‘Yes, we’re in for the long haul with Valley Medical Center.’”

“This lead gift will be such an inspiration to others,” said Valley CEO Jeannine Erickson Grinnell. “The space it will create and the people it will touch, from patients and loved ones to providers and staff members, will leave an indelible legacy of care and hope.”
