After completing a six-month national search, Valley Medical Center has appointed Jeannine Grinnell to assume the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Valley Medical Center, effective immediately. During the last six months, Jeannine has served as Valley’s interim CFO.Throughout Jeannine’s entire career, and especially her most recent 15+ years at Valley, she has assumed increasing responsibilities and achieved a stellar performance record of results. Joining Valley from the State Auditor’s Office, she served as our Director of Finance and Treasurer for seven years. Jeannine was then promoted to the position of Vice President/Finance & Treasurer. A few months after Valley joined UW Medicine in 2011, she became the Superintendent of our District (King County Public Hospital District No. 1), reporting directly to the elected Board of Commissioners, while continuing in her role as Valley’s VP of Finance/Treasurer.
